Secure Social Communications Private Limited ("we") operates PhoenixMsg with privacy as a fundamental principle.
All messages are end-to-end encrypted using the Signal Protocol (X3DH + Double Ratchet). We cannot read your messages.
Message content, call audio/video, location data shared in chats, or any decrypted content.
Account information (phone number, username), delivery metadata (timestamps, message IDs), and device information for push notifications.
Push payloads contain no message content or sender information. The app fetches and displays notification content locally.
Message translation runs on our self-hosted server. No third-party translation services are used. Translated text is not stored.
Chat backups are encrypted client-side with your password before upload to our server. We cannot decrypt your backups.
